Violet Days, new acoustic version of Somber Ft. Morgxn will give you an adrenaline rush

MUMBAI: Swedish band, Violet Days latest song, Somber (Acoustic) ft. Morgxn will give you an adrenaline rush. The critically acclaimed high energy number is the artistic project of Swedish emerging artist Lina Hansson.

The singer has put forth a stunning acoustic version of the track featuring singer/songwriter Morgxn.

Part of a burgeoning scene of young, talented Swedish artists crafting addictive, bass-heavy, alternative pop, the acoustic is as ethereal as it is unapologetically huge, and showcases the vocal purity of a star. The band has much more in the store to entertain the audience with their energetic numbers.

It really is an immediate hitter; no small wonder when you realize that Kris (the producer in the project) produced one of the biggest hits of the past few years in The Chainsmokers’ Paris.

There’s a natural vulnerability here that’s been crafted and reminds of some the finest pop coming out of the blogosphere right now. Proving they can strip it back and still keep the power and emotion of the original, this is another firm statement from the Swedish project.

Speaking on the track, Lina states: “Somber is about meeting someone that you know is right for you but you’re questioning if it’s the right timing for it or not - and if you’re really ready.”

Hansson’s first big hit was 2016’s Your Girl in collaboration with Kris Eriksson, which was streamed over five million times. Besides, issuing remixes, Violet Days also recorded a mashup of Michael Jackson's Dirty Dianaand Rihanna and Calvin Harris' This Is What You Came For.  In early 2017, the band released their single, Suck At Love.
