MUMBAI: SVF Music, the largest music label in Eastern India and a platform that is known to collaborate with various national and international artistes, launches Pataka, the debut single of Bangladeshi sensation Nusraat Faria. The song is not only sung by her but she has also featured in the music video.

The music video is a peppy number which shows Faria telling people how to deal with heartbreak as she sizzles to the musical beat. The catchy dance beats have been choreographed by acclaimed choreographer Baba Yadav.

Nusraat Faria, who performed the song at the launch event organized by SVF at Level Seven, spoke about her experience and excitement about her first single at the press conference held later.

Ecstatic about the release of her maiden single, Nusraat Faria exclaims "Although singing is my passion, I was never professionally trained in it as I came from a conservative background. Pataka is my message to every other woman who is nursing a broken heart. The revenue from my song will be contributed towards the education of children."

Nusraat Faria, who has acted in several Bengali films, also pursued her passion for singing while continuing with her profession in both acting and modelling. Her debut single Patak is thus the channelizing of her passion into reality.
