MUMBAI: Back in 2011, the superhit Marathi song Kombdi Palali from the movie Jatra had become a rage. In fact, the Hindi song Chikni Chameli from the Bollywood movie Agneepath had even borrowed its tune. Looks like the Kombadi formula is back with the Kombada song.

Upcoming Marathi film, Vantass has recently released the foot tapping number, Kombada song that Kombada Kartai Kuku Tuku. In fact, the song seems to be gaining momentum on the social media. Featuring newbie Akshay Mahulkar, who hails from rural Amravati, the song has managed to strike a chord with the audience. The song also has a brief Priya Varrier moment where Heena shoots an incredible wink towards the actor in the song.

Heena is a well-known name in the Marathi industry and is renowned for her item songs that were a hit. She’s often compared to Bollywood star Malaika Arora Khan owing to their similarity in looks. Hence, she has been given the nickname Malaika of the South. Having begun her career in 2014, Heena has featured in the likes of Balam Bambai from Life Mein Twist Hai (2014) and Bebo Bebo from Manus Ek Mati (2017). But, her most popular song is Mohalla, which released in July 2017.
