MUMBAI: Tabla Maestro Aditya Kalyanpur, founder of Shyamal Music Foundation in collaboration with Courage India Cancer Foundation are organizing a concert of Indian Classical Music – Disha, featuring leading maestros Amaan Ali Bangash on Sarod, Rakesh Chaurasia on flute accompanied by Aditya Kalyanpur on Tabla on the 19 January 2019 at Bhavan’s Kala Kendra, Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Chowpatty, Mumbai from 6.30p.m. onwards.
DISHA aims to preserve, and propagate the rich and glorious tradition of Indian Classical Music, this concert is a fund raiser in aid of Cancer Patients.
Tabla maestro Aditya Kalyanpur connects and captivates the audience with his blend of technical brilliance and creative improvisations since the time he has been trained from Late Ustaad Allah Rakhaji and later his son Padmabhushan Ustaad Zakir Hussainji, he will accompany two leading maestros who carry a rich legacy of Hindustani Classical Music, Amaan Ali Bangash, son of Padmavibhuishan Ustaad Amjad Ali Khansaab and Rakesh Chaurasia, nephew of Padmavibhushan Pandit Hariprasad Chaurasiaji.
