MUMBAI: Annie Mac favourite Franky Wah has revealed new single Get Me High, which has already been making serious waves by climbing to as high as #2 on Beatport's Top 100 Tracks.
Get Me High is an eerie and atmospheric effort led by weightless synths and energetic drums that displays Franky's capacity to diversify his sound. And it is not only Annie Mac who the Yorkshire-based producer/DJ is impressing with his achievements, as the likes of Pete Tong, Danny Howard, and Richie Hawtin have all been eager to promote his rise.
"My favourite thing about making music without a doubt is seeing the hard work in the studio come to life on the dance floor and to see people dancing to my music," expresses Franky, who has had the opportunity to play live at festivals and club venues around the country, putting him at the forefront of the underground house/techno scene.
From his early beginnings learning how to DJ and produce as a teen, Franky has developed his talents to the point where Steve Lawler’s Viva Music and Elrow support his releases, while Data Transmission Radio offers a platform for his monthly show where he can maintain his connection with his worldwide fan base.
