MUMBAI: Pancham Nishad, a well-known name known organization in the world of Indian Classical Music is hosting a two-day music festival titled Aarohi, featuring only young brigade of six Indian classic musicians, at Y. B. Chavan Auditorium on 10 and 11 May 2019 at 6 PM.
This event is being held every year during the second week of May in association with ‘Rangswar’, the cultural wing of Y. B. Chavan Pratishthan. This year Union Bank of India, on the occasion of its birth centenary year, is supporting this event as the presenter sponsor.
Pancham Nishad Founder Director Shashi Vyas said, “Every year the selection of these youngsters is done scouting them from across the country and also through recommendations of the senior artistes. Secondly, we do not repeat the artiste and every year the new team of six artistes young artiste are selected to perform in Aarohi. The objective of giving an apt platform to the youngsters is an uphill task but possible due to the unstinted financial support from the business houses. He sincerely believes that it is the responsibility and duty of every Indian to preserve and promote the rich cultural heritage of traditional performing arts of India.

The event is non ticketed and the invitations are available at the venue on the concert dates. Few seats are reserved and the seating is on first come first basis.
