Felix Cartal and Lights release music video of 'Love Me'

MUMBAI: Earlier this year Felix Cartal and Lights teamed up for their captivating vocal house single Love Me, which is rising to the top of the pop radio charts in Canada, along with having nine million streams across all platforms. Today, they debut the track's vibrant music video. Taking the lyrics to heart, Love Me explores the complex emotions of a diverse cast with one thing in common: their love interests will not return the feeling. Award-winning director Aaron A - of Grammy fame for Alessia Cara's debut album videos - brings poignancy to each character's vignette using vivid lighting and different color grades to depict some of the cast in a dream-like, technicolor state, while maintaining a lo-fi aesthetic. The feeling of being rejected or ignored by one's partner is something most all listeners - regardless of age, race, or gender - can relate to, adding to the appeal of the crowd-favorite track. Fans of the song will be delighted at its visual accompaniment, which features cameos by both Lights and Felix. Stay tuned for a new summer-ready melodic house from Felix Cartal coming soon!

With his energetic, melodic and yet dance-floor friendly sound, Felix Cartal has established himself as a force to be reckoned with in modern dance music. Recent years proved to be catalytic for the producer, who was included in Billboard's ‘13 Dance Artists Who Dominated 2017’ feature and whose Spotify channel has over 200 million streams. Felix's appeal lies in his ability to convey complex emotions through his music, like the hopeful angst of Get What You Give, leaving listeners with a positive emotional catharsis, which went on to top multiple radio charts and was named one of Billboard's ‘50 Best Dance/Electronic Tracks of 2017’. 2018's release of Felix's poignantly self-reflective album, Next Season further upped the ante for the producer with tracks like Mood, Walking By, Faces and Everyone But Me, which earned him a 2019 Juno Award nomination for Electronic Album of the Year. His release of "Love Me" begins a series of brand new tracks from Felix from his forthcoming album.
