MUMBAI: The team behind #WELOVESOUND and Time Warp have released final details of the full programme for Sonus Festival 2019 which features seventy of the most exciting names in international house and techno. They reveal a handful of major headline announcements, a forward-thinking program of Croatian, Slovenian and Serbian underground talent in addition to the details of the Pre-Party and Opening Party kicking-off the weeklong event in August.
Voted ‘Best Croatian Festival’ three years in a row by the local Ambassador Awards, this year’s line-up is the biggest and most diverse to date. Set against the breathtaking mountainous backdrop and the glistening Adriatic Sea, Sonus spans across five days and nights in four open-air clubs delivering a world-class calibre of artists and unbeatable programming under the sun.
The first taste of Sonus is on Friday 16 August 2019 with Hot Since 82, Mind Against, and Aldo Morro b2b Mony playing the Pre-Party.
Sonus favourites FUSE are back for this year’s Opening Party at the spectacular open-air club Noa for their Fuse10 international tour celebrating a decade of the London clubbing institution. FUSE label boss Enzo Siragusa is joined by Archie Hamilton off the back of his recent album release, along with Rossko and Mariano Mateljan.
Black Coffee will play Sonus for the first time alongside a number of long-time friends of the festival including Luciano, The Martinez Brothers and Berlin live techno producer, Reinier Zonneveld. Other acts announced today include William Djoko, Fabe and Fur Coat.
Sonus is committed to ensuring it represents and provides an international platform for the region’s most promising selectors and are proud to reveal the Croatian, Serbian and Slovenian artists playing this year’s event which make up 10% of the line-up. Croatian acts playing this year include Mate Ceko, Bronski, Marin Biocic and Petar Dundov. Joining the Sonus bill are Slovenian acts Ian F., Valentino Kanzyani and Urban Pfeifer and this year’s Serbian talent includes Dejan Milicevic and Marko Nastic.
