MUMBAI: On Friday night there was a collective 'whoop' of happiness across the city as party animals of Mumbai made a bee-line for The Lalit where The Chainsmokers were all set to take a 'selfie' at the Vh1 Supersonic Arcade as a part of the lead up to the EDM extravaganza in Goa, Vh1 Supersonic. What followed was one of the most mesmerising events in a long time the city of Mumbai has seen.
The duo Adam Paul and Drew Taggart, with their chart topping track 'Selfie, turned the world's narcissistic pursuit of documenting every mundane and exciting moment of their lives for posterity through 'selfies' into a party-goers manifesto! And when they descended upon the Mumbai shores to work their magic on the party people here, they sure knew how to get the party going!
Three thousand selfie enthusiasts turned up for the concert and to help The Chainsmokers bring the house down with vibrant energy and a lot of dancing. After turning Mumbai into one big thumping party, The Chainsmokers will be performing in Delhi and Bangalore as a part of their three city tour for Vh1 Supersonic Arcade. Before bidding goodbye to the crowds, The Chainsmokers extended an invite to all to join them in December in Goa for Vh1 Supersonic, where they will also be performing.
