MUMBAI: On the occasion of International Day of Yoga, Grammy award winning musician Ricky Kej has composed and released a music video 'Proyog' that showcases vibrant India as the birthplace of Yoga. Ricky Kej in association with Proyog, a Bengaluru based yoga wear startup, and ace ad filmmaker Littil have come together to make this music video that visualizes India in its truest sense - Unity in Diversity. The video ‘Proyog’ with supremely outstanding visuals of India and a magical musical composition was released on Facebook, Twitter and Youtube and has now gone viral on the internet. It has already managed to get over 50,000 hits.

Ricky Kej while sharing the experience of creating this video said, "The thought process while making it was to showcase India as the birthplace of yoga and showcase India in a way that was never done before"

Dave Bannerjee, co-founder of Proyog said "We wanted to present India in its true essence and share it with the World. The music video has beautifully come together in doing so. The response for the music and the visuals have been outstanding. I would think we will cross a million viewers very soon"

"Our crew of 3 travelled all over India and shot for 59 days straight. We shot with real people residing in North-Eastern states, Delhi, Jaipur, Kolkata, Leh Ladak, Srinagar and several other places. All the shots are candid and natural. I wanted to show India not just through its beautiful locales but also through its beautiful people" said Littil, the man behind the lens.

Ricky Kej also said, "I am extremely proud to be associated with this music video. This is my small gift to the nation after my Grammy win. The entire process of composing for this was very challenging and yet driving. We ensured that it arose the same feeling in everyone - a feeling of celebrating unity in diversity, humanity, spirituality, pride - a feeling of Indianness."
