MUMBAI: Essel Vision has announced that the multi-talented actor, Himesh Reshammiya, will be playing the main lead in their upcoming film Heeriye, to be directed by film critic Vishal Mishra. Congratulations have been pouring in since the announcement; Bollywood has been praising the fresh look of Himesh and encouraging the debutant director on his new stint.

Director Sajid Khan congratulated the duo on Twitter. Following this were the actor Jackky Bagnani, actor Taaha Shah, writer-director Milap Zaveri and director Vishal S Mahadkar who cheered for this actor-director duo.
