Mumbai: Written and directed by Sajid-Farhad, Housefull 3 is an upcoming Indian romantic comedy film which is also known as the third chapter of Housefull (2010). Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, the film is distributed by Eros International. Recently the makers of the film released the full music album on 10 May 2016 and the music rights are acquired by T-Series.

Radiomusic.com took some time out to listen to the songs and came up with the analysis. As we listen to Housefull 3, however with a movie like this, please keep in mind that the songs will not be chartbusters or will take music to a new summit. Read on to know more.

Song: Pyar Ki

Singer: Shaarib and Toshi, featuring Nakkash Aziz, Divya Kumar, Anmol Mallik, Earl Edgar

Music Director: Shaarib and Toshi

Lyrics: Manoj Yadav, Farhad-Sajid, Danish Sabri

The first song of the album is ‘Pyaar Ki’, sung by Sharib Sabri, Toshi Sabri, Nakash Aziz, Divya Kumar, Anmol Malik, and Earl Edgar. The lyrics are quite thoughtless and nonsensical, penned by Manoj Yadav, Farhad-Sajid, and Danish Sabri. This is a peppy number which can remind one of the songs from the prequel. Overall, though the lyrics are not-so-impressive, the song is mindless entertaining. Though the lyrics are quite dull, one can tap your foot to the beat of this song.

Song: Taang Uthake

Singer: Sohail Sen, featuring Mika Singh, Neeti Mohan, Mamta Sharma

Backing Vocal: Hrishikesh Chury, Madan Shukla

Music Director: Sohail Sen

Lyrics: Sameer Sen, Farhad-Sajid, Mamta Sharma, Sanjeev Chaturvedi

The second track of the album is ‘Taang Uthaake’. Written by Sameer Sen, Farhad-Sajid, Mamta Sharma, and Sanjeev Chaturvedi the song is sung by Sohail Sen, Mika Singh, Neeti Mohan, and Mamta Sharma. Sohail Sen’s music arrangement is not so grand compared to his previous works. This is a passable number with some torturous melody and lyrics.

Song: Malamaal

Singer: Mika Singh, Akira, Miss Pooja, Kuwar Virk

Music Director: Mika Singh, Millind Gaba

Lyrics: Rani Malik, Farhad-Sajid

‘Malamaal’ is the third song of the album, composed by Mika Singh and Milind Gaba. The lyrics of the song are written by Rani Malik and Farhad-Sajid, which are quite decent compared to other songs of the film. Sung by Mika Singh, Akira, Miss Pooja, and Kuwar Virk this song is a blend of Punjabi and Hindi. The music arrangement is quote attention-grabbing as there are different types of traditional instruments along with some groovy beats. According to us, this foot tapping track will certainly obtain its place at each and every wedding/ceremonial playlist in this year.

Song: Fake Ishq

Singer: Kailash Kher,Nakaash Aziz, Altamash Faridi

Music Director: Tanishk Bagchi

Lyrics: Farhad-Sajid, Arafat Mehmood

The last song ‘Fake Ishq’ is basically a tragic number composed by Tanishk Bagchi. This song is sung by some of the greatest Sufi singers, Kailash Kher, Nakash Aziz and Altamash Faridi. The melody of the song is unique in its own way.

Written by Sajid-Farhad and Arafat Mehmood in such a way, this number will make you laugh to yourself. Music arrangement is somewhat out of the ordinary as Tanishk Bagchi used a lot of harmonium and tabla, to give off a classical vibe.

Overall, we can say that ‘Housefull 3’ is obviously not the most excellent album of the year but it definitely will get attention because of its catchy, peppy beats and frivolous lyrics.
