"Do you know" was not needed in Diljit's 'Do You Know'

MUMBAI: New day, new song but nothing new in the melody.

Album: Do You Know

Singer: Diljit Dosanjh

Music: B Praak

Lyrics: Jaan

Just when we expect something exotic from our favorite artists, what they serve on our plate is the same old, repetitive music. This is kind of disappointing.

Same happened when interesting singer Diljit Dosanjh turned not so interesting the moment he released his much anticipated single 'Do You Know' on 23 September.
The Udta Punjab actor’s music video is produced independently under his own label 'Punjabi single tracks' and has been directed by none other but popular music director Mark Staubach.

Diljit made his first attempt at screenplay writing for ‘Do You Know?’ music video, which we guess should be his last attempt.

The most pinching thing in the entire song is its beginning with 'Do you know'.

Really? Was the line even needed? Had they kept a Punjabi or a Hindi line, the lyrics would have complimented the voice and voice could have matched the music.

Music as an independent attribute is fine. The picturesque locations of Los Angeles, USA and the beautiful model, luxurious car and Diljit himself couldn't spell the charm over us.

Even the fans are gutted hearing 'do you Know'.
