MUMBAI: The September release Badshahoo is all set to hit the theatres this year. Amongst all the songs released from the film, Mere Rashke Qamar has topped the chartbusters since its release. Thus, to attract more audience, T-Series released female version sung by Tulsi Kumar and the version was just not required.

The song taken from the film is originally sung by legendary singers Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan and Rahat Fateh Ali Khan who have carved the song in a beautiful way. The original song has been re-worked with musical instruments for the film but the essence of the song is yet not lost.

The female voice for the song is not rightly picked, as this version loses the essence of the song. The video of the song has been shot with additional clips from the movie to give it an original feel. There is also a slight change in the lyrics.
