MUMBAI: A couple of months ago, 9X Tashan in association with Bingo! Mad Angles began the hunt for ‘Bingo!Mad Angles Music Star’. Talented singers from Chandigarh, Amritsar and Ludhiana participated to battle it out for the desirable title. At the end of it, Chandigarh based Rico, a 3D animator by profession, bagged the title and a music video deal with 9X Tashan.

Rico and his well-wishers had been waiting for his music video to release and the wait comes to an end now, for it has finally hit the screens. The video aired on 7 January, 2015 and Rico is thrilled to see the final output. “They (9X Tashan) created a music video beyond my expectations. When I first got onto the show I knew that it was a big platform, but now it’s grand. Working on the music video has been a mind blowing experience,” said the singer. The video has a Bollywood feel to it with cars and girls around the Punjabi singer.

Getting back to the day when Rico had noticed the promo of ‘Bingo!Mad Angles Music Star’ he said, “I did not expect to come this far then. I knew that I would be selected, but I did not know that I would win.”
Rico started singing at a very young age and showcased his talent in school and college. Even while he worked as a 3D animator, he continued to give time to his passion – music. He has been recording songs as an independent artist for a while now.

The release of his first music video via 9X Tashan has motivated him to pursue a career in music. Now, Rico wants to work on more Punjabi songs and also try his luck with other languages.
The music of the video has been composed by JSL Singh. Singh also features in the music video with Rico.
