MUMBAI: Justin Bieber, the Canadian pop superstar has just dropped a bolt from the blue: he will not be available for any more meet-and-greets.

The pop sensation has shared a post on Instagram, a picture of him hugging a cute kid and mentioning that he feels “drained and unhappy” from other people’s “spiritual energy”. The singer gets friendly and personal with his admirers, and that leaves “feeling mentally and emotionally exhausted to the point of depression,” he reasons.

Bieber's managing team confirmed the cancellation of every future meet-and-greets with a vaguely dissimilar attitude. According to the team, in their new tour there are new venues each and every night and it is a shifting process. They have decided from this ‘security incident’ for the time being that this is their best course of action.

Bieber’s 114-show world tour in support of his Purpose album moves to the Garden Arena at the MGM Grand Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas on Friday (March 25).

Love u guys.. I'm going to be canceling my meet and greets. I enjoy meeting such incredible people but I end up feeling so drained and filled with so much of other people's spiritual energy that I end up so drained and unhappy.. Want to make people smile and happy but not at my expense and I always leave feeling mentally and emotionally exhausted to the point of depression .. The pressure of meeting people's expectations of what I'm supposed to be is so much for me to handle and a lot on my shoulders. Never want to disappoint but I feel I would rather give you guys the show and my albums as promised. Can't tell you how sorry I am, and wish it wasn't so hard on me.. And I want to stay in the healthy mindset I'm in to give you the best show you have ever seen ;)
