MUMBAI: RJ Malishka who has been a part of Red FM, Mumbai for more than a decade is witty and spontaneous. The lady loves to talk, she always has a series of topics to hold forth on and flits smoothly from one theme to another. From being a 'bubbly' RJ to 'the voice of the people', ‘Mumbai Ki Rani’ Malishka has travelled a fair distance over the time. This very RJ recently won KAF Award as Best RJ at KAF Business and Entertainment Awards. 

Confirming the same the RJ stated, “I am feeling extremely honoured and elated for my win at KAF Awards as Best RJ. It is overwhelming to see such prestigious forums recognizing the power of radio. I shall continue to push the limits of creativity to take the innovation quotient a notch higher and come up with entertaining shows for my loyal listeners."

Mumbai Ki Rani further added that radio is the process of revolution as there are changes almost every week. Hence, one has to work hard. She herself has evolved over the years and she continues to experiment. 

The anchoring stint at KASHISH Queer Film Festival was one such experimental step.“Hosting KASHISH film festival was a great experience as I strongly feel that its high time for our society to grow. People should raise their voice on LGBT movement and development. We should respect people beyond their sexuality,”stated Malishka.
