MUMBAI: To continue with the conscious tradition of incorporating current thoughts and the love for rap, Mumbai-based emerging talent Naezy released the music/lyric video for the single 'Tragedy Mein Comedy'. The young rapper officially released the song on his YouTube channel 'Naezy TV' on Sunday, 17 July.
As the title suggests, Naezy raps about the dismal condition due to the socio-political scenario in the country, and the scenario thus relating to finding the funny side of it. ‘Tragedy Mein Comedy’, produced by StunnahSez Beatz, becomes his second release on Naezy TV in three months. And similarly to the last release ‘Haq Hai’, the latest upload revolves around the social and political flaws existing in the society. Although ‘Haq Hai’, lyrically, spoke about demanding for what is rightfully yours, ‘Tragedy Mein Comedy’ is a sarcastic attempt on mocking the absolute ignorant authorities and the emerging tragedies.
Not specifically touching any topic, Naezy sings about how the wrongs have overshadowed the rights, and every time a wrong has been solved, the next day arises with another wrong. ‘Tragedy Mein Comedy’ boosts Naezy’s image as a socially responsible artist with several causes to sing about, and his evolution from a YouTube sensation to among the bests in the current rap scenario summarises how neatly and consciously Naezy has made the most of his approach.
Fun info – The song appeared as the theme track for AIB's webseries on Hotstar titled 'On Air With AIB'.
