MUMBAI: Gionee Vh1 Supersonic powered by Budweiser is back with a blast this year with its lineup flaunting big names. Vh1 Supersonic in its fourth edition is not only offering its attendees with a smashing lineup but also with a flea market and gaming zones to add up to the experience.
One of the most attractive aspects of Vh1 Supersonic this year are its stages. There are three stages with three different themes. #Superstages is what they call it and indeed they are pretty neat. The main stage called Sonic Realm is considered a major part of the festival and its intricate design is something Indian music festivals have not seen before. The design is the brainchild of renowned set designer Shyam Bhatia. ‘The Original Bubbler’ MC Stretch will be playing host to all three leading acts, Eric Prydz, Macklemore and Zedd who are set to perform on this stage.
The other two stages include Labortoire by Gionee and the Spectrum Stage. These two stages may not be called the main stage but there have been no compromises made on the décor. The Labortoire has been curated along with this year’s sponsor Gionee has been dedicated to bass. With visual patterns on the background, this stage is set to be put on fire by star-studded artists like Aly&Fila, Proculture and Sickflip whereas the Spectrum Stage promises a larger than life quality to its audience with LED elements that guarantees to enthrall the people. This stage will be hosted by globally popular Dutch Techno brand Awakenings which will feature Arjun Vagale, Joris Voorn, Eagles and Butterflies and much more.
