MUMBAI: One of the most awaited videos has finally been launched by T-series. Amruta Fadnavis, wife of CM David Fadnavis crooned a single title ‘Phir Se’. This is for the first time that Amruta has faced the camera. Interestingly, Amitabh Bachchan also features in the song.
The video is directed by Ahmed Khan, composed by Jeet Gannguli, written by Rashmi Virag and arranged by Abhijit Vaghani. Present at the launch Amitabh Bachchan, T-Series CMD Bhushan Kumar, Jeet Gannguli, Rashmi Virag, Ahmed Khan and Abhijit Vaghani.
The theme of the song is about a girl’s dreams and how they get fulfilled by her only effort of believing in herself.
Bhushan Kumar says, “I happy to associate with Amrutaji and Amitji. We had a really good time working together. I am glad that Ahmed also came on board for this video.”
Shot in the beautiful Opera House Mumbai, Amitabh had tweeted about the song in late 2016. The story of the single revolves around the Opera House where Amruta Fadnavis’ character seeks admission. It is a performing arts institute headed by Amitabh Bachchan's character in the song video.
Amruta Fadnavis has already sung for Kunal Kohli’s ‘Phir Se’ and Prakash Jha’s ‘Jai Gangajal’ but this is the first time she will face the camera for her song.
Speaking about her on-screen debut, Amruta Fadnavis says, "Working on this song has been a beautiful experience. I was very confident to shoot the song, but I was very nervous about sharing the screen with Amitji, as I respect him."
To this Amitabh Bachchan adds, "I readily agreed to be a part of the album ‘Phir Se’, not just because Amruta Ji is the wife of the Hon. CM of Maharashtra, but because she is a woman, a lady. To me, her independent will and desire to pursue her ambition were the driving force. The results of the participation are here to see. It has been a wonderful experience."
