MUMBAI: Singer Peter Andre was paid thousands of pounds to perform for 15 minutes in a charity fundraiser that raised just 260 pounds.
Andre was widely praised for 'taking time out' to perform for a charity named Shelter.
But Andre was paid a huge sum by a building society for the pop-up gig on the streets of London last month, according to mirror.co.uk.
A representative for Andre later and said: "Shortly after Peter's performance, he gave a substantial amount to Shelter, which was his personal choice. He supports seven chosen charities every single year and commits to them 100 per cent and receives no fee for any involvement."
