MUMBAI: The second song Meri Pyaari Ammi from Aamir Khan production’s upcoming film Secret Superstar is released. This is a theme based rendition depicting an emotional connection between a girl and her mother.

Every daughter reaches that phase in life when she comes to realise her mother’s sacrifices, unconditional love and the fact her mother is probably her only strong support from within the family. In the film, Zaira Wasim (main lead) who dreams to be a superstar singer, is supported by her mother despite her father's dislike for her passion. This will probably be the second most liked song dedicated to a mother after Maa from Taare Zameen Par.

In the song, a line beautifully expresses how encouraging and lucky children feel in trying to achieve their dreams when they have their mother's support - “Jaise kismat ki chaabhi hai woh, Jo khole kar tala, Maine apne sapnon ka, Har baksa unko de dala”.

Beautifully sung by Meghna Mishra, the lyrics are penned by Kausar Munir and music is by Amit Trivedi.
