MUMBAI: Hari Om Hari singer Usha Uthup is all set to appear on Sony TV's popular game show Kaun Banega Crorepati. The talented singer is going to make an appearance along with a transgender Gauri Sawant, who is a social worker.

The singer is going to accompany Gauri as she is a fan of the Hare Krishna Hare Ram singer and also dresses up and wears a bindi on her forehead like Uthup.

Gauri works for the development of her community. She also desires to work for the sex workers and with the prize money she wishes to build houses for them in Kharghar, in Navi Mumbai.

Usha Uthup is always known for her lively nature and the magic of taking the command of the venue and making it hers by her magical presence. Here too she brought a sari for Gauri and gifted a shawl to the megastar, Amitabh Bachchan.

Uthup also made Bachchan sing along on the popular Bengali song penned by Rabindranath Tagore Ekla Cholo Re.
