MUMBAI: Hard Rock Cafe is set to host soulful and melodious collective- Atul Ahuja and band for a Beatles tribute night in Mumbai this week. Paying homage to the iconic rock band, the brand will direct all proceeds from the event towards the CMCA (Children's Movement for Civic Awareness) NGO.
"We are regular artiste at HRC throughout India. Today we will be paying tribute to the Beatles," says Atul who is always looks forward to a gig at HRC.
Not many know but Atul is committed to HRC as an artiste, when it comes to performing in India. "I chose not to perform anywhere else because if you want to be a world-class artiste you need a world-class team with you. Hard Rock is world-class," states the performer.
He further adds, "Unfortunately most venues in India are bad. They keep cutting corners in sound and also when it comes to paying an artiste. The artiste understands that they are running a business, but they do not want a substandard venue. It's difficult to find good venues in India."
The artiste lastly states that he loves the height and depth of HRC as it just makes a perfect venue for a live performance.
The performance will take place tonight at 8:30 pm at HRC, Mumbai.
