Rishi Rich bags the award for Best Soundtrack at the UK Asian Film Festival

Mumbai: EMI Records India artist Rishi Rich and UK based Indian R & B Singer Veronica Mehta recently won the Best Soundtrack award for the film Boogie Man at the UK Asian Film Festival. The film has been directed by noted filmmaker Andy Morohan.

 With Amy Jackson and Aston Merrygold in the lead cast, the film is a charming coming-of-age story of Pavan, an 18-year-old British Indian boy who brightens his mundane existence by fantasising about the exciting world of 1970s dance culture. Boogie Man is touted to be the feel-good entertainer of this festive season.

 An ecstatic Rishi shares, “It was a great experience working on the music background score and tracks for this film with Veronica. It was a real challenge combining the different elements of genres and making it come together. Really excited for everyone to see this film Boogieman. Looking forward to getting involved in more movie scores in the future.”

 Rishi Rich, the creative genius from EMI Records India has proved his mettle with back to back hit songs like Mere Dil Mein from Half Girlfriend, Teri Yaadon Mein and Jaanu from the movie Behen Hogi Teri and the title track of the Anil Kapoor and Arjun Kapoor starrer Mubarakan. Recently, he produced the soundtrack and created the background score for smart phone brand OPPO’s brand new advertisement campaign. Rishi has several exciting projects in the pipeline.
