MUMBAI: Gajendra Verma, who is the singer and composer of one of the most Viral Song of 2018, Tera Ghata releases his new music video, Khelegi Kya. Gajendra Verma the Artist behind several viral songs like Emptiness – Tune Mere Jaana, Tera Ghata, Ik Kahani, Mera Jahan, Mann Mera. Khelegi Kya is the first song from his album Flip. His brand new single Khelegi Kya portrays Gajendra in a new light.

“Khelegi Kya is about and for people who get into a relationship and are enjoying and at the same time facing issues, which are common. Public display of affection or if we should tell our parents or not, these issues are very normal. The song is based on these feelings,” says Gajendra.

His previous hit Tera Ghata was a major hit but Khelegi Kya is a complete change from her previous one, “I am a 90’s kid and grew up listening to pop songs from that decade. Songs like Urvashi-Urvashi and Patti Rap were favourites that I used to listen to on loop. I always wanted to sing songs like those and waited for the day when I could get people tapping their feet to my beat. I wanted to showcase my fun side as well, a side that was hidden, yet always there,” says Gajendra, when asked why he chose to stay away from his usual moody melodies.

Adding cheery to the cake is super talented Vikram Singh's direction who is known for making cinematic music videos through his direction; about his venture with Gajendra, “We didn’t want to change my image drastically. Vikram and team has done a great job in maintaining that balance.”

At the moment, Gajendra wants to complete his album Flip, “Thats my focus and am trying to present a mixed bag of genres for my listeners,” says the singer.
