MUMBAI: The Suresh Oberoi film on PM Narendra Modi’s life has been amidst many controversies, but we’d like to focus on the right ones. A bunch of talented singers have worked on this biopic starring Vivek Oberoi and one amongst them happens to be Aman Trikha.
Aman who is unhappy with the movie release being stalled says, “Who the public wants to vote is finally their decision, a movie won't affect. Also, by now everyone knows about Modiji's work and this movie only tells his back-story and struggle. Art should not be affected by such political agendas.”
Aman has sung Namo Namo, “The song is an anthem of the movie. It brings out the whole euphoria of PM Modi. It also speaks about his personal journey to his vision for the country.”
The singer has sung the melody part of the song that also has rap. “It basically is from Modiji’s point of view and his philosophy. It showcases his life’s journey in a musical format. It also gives the message to find optimism in every situation.”
Although being apolitical Aman insists that he is a patriot, “There is nothing wrong in being nationalist or patriot. It gives me immense happiness to see our nation prosper. We have a leader like Modiji who thinks about the progress of our country. I am glad that today India is seen as the next superpower. Also, India has always been seen as a peaceful nation but it shouldn’t be mistaken for a weak country. With Modiji I see that perception changing.”
Namo Namo is composed by Hitesh Modak, rap and its lyrics by Parry G, and song lyrics by Lavraj. The other singers in the song is Sandip Singh.

Beyond the political connection with his music, Aman is having a productive 2019 as he says, “Couple of my songs that were recorded three-four years ago are releasing now. Like the movie, Albert Pinto Ko Ghussa Kyun Aata Hai has beautiful and soulful song, Tere Bina. Apart from that, I have sung for a Rajshri productions movie. I also have one Punjabi and one Hindi single coming up soon.”
