MUMBAI: Punjabi hit machine Guru Randhawa, who has recently attacked in Vancouver, post his show on 28 July, has returned back to India.
The singer, who has got four stitches on his right eyebrow, thanked Guru Nanakji for saving him in an instagram post shared by his manager. The high Rated Gabru singer didn’t forget to mention his fans for their love and support. He also prayed for the attacker, who was accompanied by a group, hoping that Waheguru gives him a sense of doing things.
As mentioned in the post, the man is identified as a Punjabi man, who was trying to get on the stage and on being stopped by the security, he was seen quarrelling backstage. A local promoter Surinder Sangher, who knew him, tried sending him. But, the man ended up punching Guru on his face while he was leaving the stage. The bleeding singer went back on the stage and showed it to the audience. Fortunately, the singer is safe now and back to India.
It is not for the first time that some of the goons amid the audience, have tried to be physical or personal with their favourite celebrities. But, physical assault for reasons unknown is indeed shocking. We hope the Vancouver police take serious action on the issue.
