Radio Mirchi fights for the Bomb Blast victims
MUMBAI: Realising its responsibility, Radio Mirchi 98.3 FM India's hottest radio station has announced its �Help Delhi to Help Delhi' campaign to extend help to the Sept 13th bomb blast victims. The initiative is aimed at providing assistance to the victims and also to protest against the increasing trend towards terrorism in the country.
Beginning September XX, the Hon'ble Chief Minister of Delhi Mrs. Shiela Dixit inaugurated the �Help Delhi to Help Delhi' campaign with RJ Anant & Saurabh on the Hi Delhi show. In this fight against terrorism, Mirchi RJ's through an on air campaign will appeal and encourage Delhiites to share their opinion, thoughts and concerns on the 25 Mirchi Message boards which will be traveling across Delhi in the areas such as South Extension, Green Park, Vasant Kunj, Janakpuri, North Campus, South Campus, etc for three days. Listeners can come forward and share their thoughts and feelings by contributing on the message boards. The campaign will culminate in a silent protest at India Gate on 22nd September 2008 where all the 25 Mirchi Message boards will be collated. The message boards, which reflect the voice of Delhites, will then be sent to the Chief Minister's office ensuring that the voice of Delhi reaches the concerned authorities.
In addition, Radio Mirchi will also request people to contribute in Chief Minister Relief fund on 22nd September, 2008

Through our �Help Delhi to Help Delhi' initiative, we have made an attempt to extend a helping hand to the victims and also voice their opinions against terrorism. We are hopeful that our initiative will be able to give voice to the sufferings of bomb blast victims and also compel the authorities to take cognisance of what needs to be done towards a safer Delhi.
