Third season of radio show on disabilities to commence later this week

The third season of 'Mud Mud ke na dekh', India's only radio show on issues pertaining to disabilities will premier on 26 February on 17 of All India Radio Stations and will be broadcast every Wednesday.

The eight-part programme is being supported by the Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd., as a part of their CSR activities.

This radio programme will feature various aspects and issues related to disability in India involving Education, Gender, Sports, Livelihood, Access, Technology, Performing Arts and the 'Rights of Persons with Disabilities Bill 2014', which was recently introduced in the Rajya Sabha.

It will be aired on FM Gold (in Delhi, Mumbai and Kolkata), FM Rainbow (in Hyderabad, Vishakapatnam, Lucknow, Bangalore, Jalandhar and Panaji) and Vividh Bharti (in Ahmedabad, Bhopal, Chandigarh, Patna, Jodhpur, Nagpur, Vadodara and Jaipur).

Trinayani's founder Ritika Sahni will host the show and will invite experts, activists and dignitaries in the field of disability to share their thoughts. Sahni actively conducts workshops, publishes literature and poetry, and creates short films to draw attention to the objectives of NGO Trinayani.

Early episodes of the radio show 'Mud Mud ke na dekh' is available on Soundcloud. In the past, the show was aired on Community Radio stations like Radio Solan, Radio Active, Radio Noida and Jago Mumbai to name few.
