MUMBAI: After producing for rappers like Rocky Glock and releasing his debut single 'So Far' Trap Monk is ready to take you to the world of a boy who had his first break up. The EP ‘Sad Boi Forever’ is about different shades of emotions, the innocence of first love, and questions that arise in this phase of love and relationship.

Sad Boi Forever is basically about the mindset of a teenage boy who is going through the phase of his first break up. A phase generally every one of us go through, we haven't experienced something like this before and it makes us paranoid. Basically a boy who's going through so many emotions and questions at the same time, ‘whether she loves him or not?, was that real?, how to move on when I can't leave her? is his life worth it?’. He's so imbalanced that he enters into more and more darkness.

Production-wise, Trap Monk gave the album a Lo-Fi feel and played a lot with his vocal texture. He tried to keep the innocence of first love in his melodies.

The album is written, produced, and sung by Trap Monk. He himself mixed-mastered it.
