MUMBAI : The multi-platinum and gold award-winning DJ and producer Felix Jaehn releases his brand-new EP "HAPPY RAVE" with six compelling rave tracks and remixes that celebrate the sound in its full depth and variety.
Felix Jaehn's inspiration for the EP is a reflection on his recent experiences and the transformation he has undergone. "I've been partying at great raves a lot. I had a lot of time. And I now finally feel confident enough", Felix reflects. The lockdown became a time of rebirth and musical growth. "It really felt like my butterfly moment" he says.
This musical awakening is evident not just in the studio but also in Felix Jaehn's live performances. "Over the past couple of years, I've started to play around with the tempo in my live shows", Felix explains. With a wave of new tracks such as "Atme Ein (Atme Rauch Aus)" with Butschi & Fairy Mary and “Nonstop” with Kiddo, his passion for faster BPMs is reflected both in his music and his live sets.
A particular highlight of the EP is his Happy Rave Mix of his own hit “Ain’t Nobody (Loves Me Better)” with Jasmine Thompson - a track that will delight both long-time fans and new listeners. With fresh basslines and a significant speed upgrade, the remix is set to conquer clubs, dancefloors, and raves alike, seven years after its initial release.
The EP HAPPY RAVE not only marks another step in Felix Jaehn's impressive journey but showcases his talent to serve multiple musical worlds simultaneously. "I am versatile as a person, and even more diverse is my taste in music" says Felix Jaehn. "I never liked restricting myself to one music style; I always want to know: What music am I into? What really feels right for me?“
For years, Felix Jaehn has been one of the most globally successful and sought-after DJs and producers. This is one reason why superstar Taylor Swift recently chose him to remix her song "Lavender Haze." However, what particularly distinguishes JAEHN is his ability to create music that is not only catchy and danceable but also deeply emotive.
With over 22 million monthly listeners on Spotify, Felix Jaehn is still on a successful path in 2023. His EP HAPPY RAVE marks another milestone this year and follows the internationally acclaimed collaboration "All For Love" with Sandro Cavazza marking his seventh release this year.
