Kick's credits roll out Arijit Singh's name instead of Mohammed Irfan
MUMBAI: You would not expect a factual error in the credits that roll at the end of a movie, particularly, if you are a part of said movie. Unfortunately, that is exactly what happened with ‘Banjaara' singer Mohammed Irfan.
Irfan has sung two songs in the Salman Khan starrer- ‘Tu Hi Tu' and ‘Hai Zindigi'. However, in the credits of the movie, instead of his name appearing against the song ‘Tu Hi Tu', it shows Arijit Singh's name. Very often when these incidents occur, the concerned person gets offended and often throws a tantrum. Instead, Irfan has taken the incident very lightly.
In a conversation with Radioandmusic.com's Dhairya Ingle Mohammed Irfan said, "Yes I noticed the error and I consider this is nothing more than a mistake. This is a rare mistake, but I think we should not make an issue out of it. The most important thing is that the song has been attributed to me on the audio CD and YouTube. Thus people obviously know that I have sung the track."
When asked if he will bring this to the notice of the producer, Sajid Nadiadwala or will take a legal action, he said, "I will not take any legal action against anyone. I will speak to Himesh Reshammiya about this when we meet personally but nothing beyond that. The best part is that people know that I have sung the track and they like it, which is my biggest credit."
