MUMBAI: In a unique musical confrontation, Red Bull Soundclash presents the ultimate clash of the titans – India v/s Pakistan. Internationally acclaimed Pakistani rock band, Strings is gearing up to face Indian rock act Euphoria in this battle, which is slated to be no less than epic!
On November, 28, Dubai will witness the age-old rivalry in a musical conversation. The two acclaimed bands will vie for the affection of the crowd, on two opposing stages in four musically intense rounds.
"I think Red Bull Sound Clash is a fantastic concept and I think it’s brilliant to be doing this in the Middle East. It’s great… Strings are great friends of ours. So I think the entire thing’s too good to be true, and I’m really looking forward to it," said Palash Sen from Euphoria.
Faisal Kapadia from Strings added, "The Sound Clash concept’s unique. I’ve never heard of it before and that was really the main factor in us doing this… You get tired of doing the same kind of stuff, so when we heard about this, it was really interesting. We’ve worked with Euphoria several times – we even did a song together way back in 2003 – so we’ve got a good relationship with them, on a very friendly note. And, as a musician – or just as a human being in any profession – you want to face challenges, or life becomes very monotonous. We’ll have to do extra preparation for this event, which is nice."
