MUMBAI: Coachella 2015 has announced its complete line-up with AC/DC, Jack White and Drake set to headline the three day music festival. The two-weekend festival will take place on 10, 11 and 12 April and 17, 18, and 19 April this year at Cochella Valley in California's Colorado Dessert.
Australian rockers- AC/ DC will headline the festivals on both Fridays (10 and 17 April) and will be joined by a number of other acts including Tame Impala, Alabama Shakes, Azealia Banks, Alesso, Interpol, Flying Lotus, George Ezra, Kimbra and a host of others.
On the festival's two Saturdays (11 and 18 April), the headlining act will be former White Stripes frontman Jack White. Other acts performing on the same days are Axwell ^Ingrosso, The Weekend, alt-J, Hozier, FKA Twigs, Clean Bandit, Tyler the Creator, Kasabian and many others.
Meanwhile, Drake, who is expected to release an album sometime this year, will headline the festival on both Sundays (12 and 18 April). Other acts that will perform on the third day of both weekends include Florence and the Machine, David Guetta, Ryan Adams, Kaskade, Fitz and the Tantrums, Vance Joy and St. Vincent among several others.
Last year, the Coachella festival had a total attendance of 579,000, and had a record breaking $78.3 million in ticket sales. General admission tickets were said to have sold out in 20 minutes, while VIP tickets sold out in a little less than three hours. Outkast, Muse and Arcade Fire headlined the festival, and popular acts like Pharrell Williams, Lorde, Calvin Harris, Foster the People, Lana Del Ray, Pet Shop Boys, Bastille, Zedd, Queens of the Stone Age and others also performed over the two weekends.
General admission passes for both weekends of Coachella 2015 have already been sold out.
