"Since it’s rare opportunity to go to India, we planned hard to give strong impression about K-POP and N-Sonic. For this India schedule, not only concert but we planned to have fan meetings to meet more Indian fans. We heard India puts a lot of effort to preserve and maintain their culture.
"These days the world is only rapidly changing to evolve as developed countries and trying to preserve the traditional is incredible," the bandmates consisting of J. Heart, Sihoo, Byeol, Minkee, Black J and Zion, said in a joint statement.
Kim Kum-pyoung, director of Korean Cultural Center, also said that on the cultural front, K-POP as a juggernaut of Korean soft-power "is something we were very keen on introducing in India".
"With N-Sonic's visit last year as judges of the K-POP audition, we confirmed the potential popularity of K-Pop here. This concert marks the first-ever K-POP concert in the country and we have great expectations on the K-POP phenomenon taking India by storm," he added.
