MUMBAI: Saregama Music has launched Violin duo Ganesh - Kumaresh`s new age album `Carnatic Chills`

The album was unveiled by music maestro Ustad Sultan Khan in Mumbai, followed by a performance by Ganesh and Kumaresh.

Carnatic Chills is the third album of the music duo, which features seven tracks like `Dance like a man`, `Fire and Water`, `Flights of fantasy`, `Laughing Buddha`, `Lost in`, `The Indian Concerto and Back to the basics (Bhajans)`.

Talking about the album, the dynamic duo of Ganesh - Kumaresh said, `The link between tradition and modernity comes when the sampradayam of music reflects itself through the modern vision of each musician. It is this capacity to blend disparate elements that prompted us to have the traditional Flute, Mridangam and the Ghatam in the album along with Drums, the Keyboard and the Bass Guitar and of course, the violins`.

Ganesh - Kumaresh one of the country`s best-known violinists have had many successful albums like Spark, Colours Of India, Sadjam, Manoranjani and many more, says the release.
