MUMBAI: The ninth edition of ‘Idea Jalsa – Music for the Soul’ concert organized by Durga Jasraj’s Art And Artistes, staged a musical night at Patna on the 14th of March 2015. The evening was one to remember featuring the maestros of Indian music Pandit Rattan Mohan Sharma and Kavita Seth. They set the mood to that of tranquil tunes of semi classical music & folk haveli sangeet & sufi music.
Badshah-e-Tarana, Indian classical vocalist Rattan Mohan Sharma is the only artist to have mastered the Semi-classical, Sufi and Folk genre with ease. Speaking about Idea Jalsa he said, “Idea Jalsa is one such platform where there are no boundaries to music. Different genres of music come together and showcase the true essence of music. It is an honor to perform at Idea Jalsa.”
On the success of the event, Kavita Seth said, “My association with Idea Jalsa is time-honored and has only been growing to the next level. I am happy that we as a team are able to share soulful music with our audiences keeping the Indian Art & Culture alive through Idea Jalsa.”
