Typical Work Activities:
• Reporting , Feature Writing, Online Videos,Slideshows and Specials: (Online)
• Coming up with at least – and working on at least eight story ideas at any given time.
• Collate planned news daily and give report to editor
• Determining and organising online content for www.radioandmusic.com
• Planning and writing special features, articles and short news items.
• Take responsibility of the specific content of the website.
• Encourage ideation from the team members. And working with the team members to help and guide each other.
• Work on the leads given by the editor for stories, features, news etc.only after re-verifying it.
• Prepare the content and send it to the Editor –in-Chief/Editor for verification.
• Covering breaking news as well
• Ideating on videos and doing video and audio interviews
. Learning how to use the video and still camera and using it when needed.
• Maintaining the Online Forums of Radioandmusic.com:
• Checking forums online and find solutions to build them
• Updating the site in terms of information on programmes, producers, creating special areas for programmes and tracking them.
• Collate achieved news by evening to editor
Technical skills:
ò Good knowledge of html, Ms-Office.
