MUMBAI: Electronics giant, LG, revealed its new smartphone- LG G4, recently in Mumbai with legendary Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan present as chief ambassador. The slightly curved device comes with plenty of features to catch the gadget gazer’s attention and comes with handcrafted leather back detachable panels.
The smartphone features an IPS Quantum display measuring 5.5-inches. It is driven by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 chipset with a dual-core ARM Cortex A57, and quad-core A53 with processor with 64-bit support and houses Adreno 418 GPU. The processor is coupled with 3GB of RAM.
The latest LG G4 has a built-in storage capacity of 32GB out of which only 20.4GB is available to the user. However, to compensate, the company has also added a microSD card slot. The device is powered by Android 5.1 OS and the dual SIM phone features a Qualcomm X10 LTE chipset for 4G LTE SIM cards.
For connectivity, the smartphone is packed with Bluetooth 4.1, A-GPS and Wi-fi 802.11ac along with regular sensors. The LG G4 smartphone sports a 16MP rear camera with laser-detect auto focus feature and also has an 8MP front-facing camera which supports gesture based shooting.
The LG G4 smartphone has been priced at Rs 51,000.
