Ed Sheeran's Wembley Stadium show to be aired on NBC

MUMBAI: Ed Sheeran's three-day sold-out show at Wembley Stadium has been documented by NBC, and a one-hour special will be aired on Sunday, 16 August. The special titled, 'Ed Sheeran - Live at Wembley Stadium', will also feature a special duet with legendary British singer, Sir Elton John.

The show will also feature unseen documentary footage on the build-up of the 'Don't' singer's iconic gig, which was witnessed an attendance of 200,000 plus, during the three nights.

"I can't say that performing at Wembley Stadium was a 'dream come true,' because I honestly thought it was out of reach and didn't think it was possible," said Sheeran.

He further added, "But with each tour, the venues continued to grow and it became something of a challenge to see how far we could take it, how big we could go and still deliver a show that connected with the entire audience. It really doesn't get any bigger than Wembley in my mind and it was an honour to join the select few that have headlined there. It's definitely a personal milestone and I'm so glad to share this special moment with all of my fans."

The show will have Ed Sheeran perform his biggest hits like 'The A Team', 'Thinking Out Loud' and a duet act with Sir Elton John.

Produced by JA Digital for Atlantic Records/Warner Music UK, 'Sheeran - Live at Wembley Stadium', is directed by Paul Dugdale. Jim Parsons, Julie Jakobek and Stefan Demetriou are the producers for the show and Stuart Camp and Kevin Weaver are executive producers for the show.

For 24- year old Sheeran, who has six Grammy nominations, it would be a special show to remember. This fall, he will be seen touring North America which part of his 'X World Tour'.
