MUMBAI: To be part of a surprise gig is always fun and when there’s DJ-producer Martin Garrix playing, the experience promises to be nothing but surreal. The ‘Animal’ composer played at a local club in Amsterdam, which was soon after the two-day Sziget festival.
He was seen playing at a small club in the city to a handful of people. Garrix hit the stage and started playing his sets.

Garrix is touring in Europe now and his next few stops are France, Spain and Austria among others. He will also been seen playing at Germany’s Lollapalooza, Mysteryland and EDC music festivals among others.
In February this year, Garrix released ‘Forbidden Voices’ as a good-will gesture for his Facebook fans who helped him achieve 10 million followers. In March, he released the single ‘Don't Look Down’ featuring Usher, followed by a track with Tiësto, called ‘The Only Way Is Up’ and Garrix co-produced ‘Waiting for Love’ in May. He also released two tracks with Matisse & Sadko as well, in July.
In the past, DJs like Deadmau5, DJ Yoda and many other DJ/producers, have played surprise gigs at various locations across the world- some get paid and some do it for free.
