MUMBAI: Oppo Mobiles has launched an upgraded version of R5 i.e. R5s, which dons a 5.2-inch FHD AMOLED with a pixel density of 423ppi. The smartphone features a protective layer of corning Gorilla Glass 3.

Powered by 1.5GHz Qualcomm MSM8939 Snapdragon 615, the smart phone has a 3GB RAM and has an internal storage of 32GB and has a 2000mAh battery. The capacity of the phone cannot be expanded. It comes along with a OPPOs VOOC rapid charge technology, which charges 74 per cent of the phone in 30 minutes. R5s also has a 13-megapixel primary camera and comes with a Sony IMX214 sensor with LED flash and f/2.0 aperture. The front camera is 5-megapixel and runs Color OS 2.0, based on Android 4.4.

The smartphone also supports 4G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS and could be priced in the range of Rs 20,000-25,000. The approximate weight of R5s is 155 grams.
