MUMBAI: ‘Ram Chahe Leela’ singer is on cloud nine these days, not only because she crooned a peppy song ‘Dance Ke Legend’ from the film ‘Hero’ but also because she will soon be taking off to US, UK and Canada with Salim Sulaiman for their upcoming tour.
Upbeat about the impending tour, Trivedi has however learnt to be patient. “The time frame between the ‘Ramleela’ song and the song in ‘Hero’ has taught me to be patient. People would keep asking me about my upcoming projects and I would always say that it will happen very soon. This phase actually taught me to wait for good things to come.”
Speaking about the song in ‘Hero,’ Trivedi revealed that she met the composers Meet Brothers through a common friend. “I sung a couple of songs in front of them and they immediately brought me on board to sing this track. It was fun recording for the Meet Brothers as they would always encourage me to do better. A couple of days later, I got to know that my voice had been retained,” she said.
The lyrics of the song have been penned by Kumaar. Happy about the way the track has been shot, the songstress is of the opinion that the choreography has made the song even better.
Trivedi is keen to meet the entire unit of the film before she leaves for her tour with Salim Sulaiman. “I am very thankful to both Salim and Sulaiman for taking me on this tour with them in September. I am really looking forward to it,” she added.
While she has recently crooned the title track for the film ‘Carry On Maratha,’ Trivedi also sings jingles in various languages.
