Nashville artist Dominic James reveals pain of being bullied

MUMBAI: Nashville singer songwriter Dominic James is kicking off his nationwide anti-bullying tour "Somebody's Hero" this month with a movie short and single release of the same name. James was bullied terribly in high school and is committed to reaching as many people, young and old with his message.

From being told he would be better off dead to having people tell him he was a disgrace to his town, James knows the pain and suffering of being bullied. He knows what it is to not want to leave your bedroom because you know the day will bring ridicule. He knows what it is to be cyber bullied with people posting things, making fun of your lisp and calling you names like gay and fag because you went out for the school play. He also knows the power of overcoming, of enduring and following your dream. When people hear his story, they are moved to tears, both young and old. Be it a school assembly or a concert venue, standing ovations are the norm for Dominic James as he shares the truth that you can be somebody's hero, even your own!

Somebody's Hero single release will be October 21 on iTunes.
