MUMBAI: The Hangout Music Festival, which takes place at the Gulf Shores, Alabama, has announced its line-up for its upcoming edition. A number of big names in music, including Florence + the Machine, Calvin Harris, The Weeknd, Ellie Goulding, Lenny Kravitz, Haim, Panic! At the Disco, The Chainsmokers and many others have been slated to perform at the festival, which will be held from 20-22 May 2016.
Like always, the annual three-day fest will feature a mix of music genres and will be held on the white sandy beaches of Alabama. Tickets for the upcoming festival will be made available from 19 November 2015 at 10 am (CST) and are priced at $249.
The Hangout Music Festival, which began in 2010, has seen a number of big performers over the years, like Foo Fighters, Stevie Wonder, The Killers, Dave Matthews Band, Kings of Leon, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Jack White, The Flaming Lips, Outkast and The Black Keys, amongst others.
The music fest usually takes place on the third weekend in May, and features both, established and emerging artists. 2014 witnessed a sold-out Hangout Music Festival, which had headliners- The Black Keys, The Killers and Outkast, while last year, Beck, Zac Brown Band and Foo Fighters were announced as festival headliners with Foster the People, Skrillex, Paramore, Major Lazer, Vance Joy and Macy Gray among the other performers.
