Radio Jockey emerges as top profession

MUMBAI: The sweeping changes seen in the radio sector in India has led to Radio Jockeying and other professions in the radio industry as the "In-thing" amongst the youth of India. Govt of India's FM Phase II met with a huge response as more than 336 frequencies were auctioned in 96 different cities. Out of them many radio stations have started operations, while only a handful are on the verge of doing so. Certain frequencies not taken by anyone or given back, are soon to be auctioned again.

Radio Misty releases Traffic guide for Durga Puja

MUMBAI: Siliguri Traffic Police today came to the aid of pandal-hoppers in town with guide map in association with Radio Misty 94.3 fm  Inspector General of police, North Bengal kundanlal tamta released this map at a function attended by senior police officials and puja organizers. The map for  Siliguri  show direction of traffic movement, the locations of police assistance booths, helpline numbers, the names of big pandals and where they are located and the â€?dos' and â€?don'ts' for pandal-hoppers.
