Radio Misty Gangtok undergoes revamp, pumps in new shows

Najam Sheraz freeze in 'Freeze'

MUMBAI: Recently, well-known Pakistani singer Najam Sheraz performed in Delhi's best ice lounge ''Freeze''. Tere bina (Shaapit) sung by Najam is very commonly hummed by listeners these days. Asked by the audience, Najam first performed ''Tere bina'' which was thoroughly enjoyed by all present there. Then he sang the original track of ''Bheege hot tere'' of film 'Murder'. This song was actually sung by Najam. ''Bheege hot tere'' is composed on the tuning of this song. At the end he sang the global peace song ''Only love''.

T-Series to produce Ready; says Housefull copyright issue to be set right soon

The latest film produced by T-Series is Anees Bazmee's �Ready' starring Salman Khan and Asin. The film is set to go on floors in June 2010 and slated for a June 2011 release. Nalin Shah, Hamraz get Saigal Memorial Awards

NEW DELHI: Veteran film music historians Nalin Shah of Mumbai, and Harmandir Singh 'Hamraaz' of Kanpur were feted by former information and broadcasting minister Vasant Sathe with the first K L Saigal Awards at a function here to mark the 106th birth anniversary of Kundan Lal Saigal that falls on 4 April. Harmandir Singh has authored a unique compendium of all songs of legendary singer Saigal titled "Jab Dil Hi Toot Gaya". He is also known for several volumes listing all Hindi songs sung till date.
