TRAI managed to give broadcasting as much importance as telecom in 2014
NEW DELHI: A decade after broadcasting was handed over to the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI), it appears to have given equal if not more time to the broadcasting sector. It can be attributed largely to convergence of technology.
FM Radio applicants should apply for security clearance immediately
NEW DELHI: Applicants wanting to bid for the FM Phase III and those wanting to migrate have to give details for security clearance by 5 January 2015.The Information and Broadcasting Ministry today placed on its website the format for this.
