Qyuki's Antara Nandy celebrates love with modern- day classical single

MUMBAI: Qyuki creator Antara Nandy released her new age classical song, Aayi re Badraa, today, which talks about the love that monsoons bring along with them. Hailing from Assam, Antara comes from a classical background, the rich heritage is also her passion, and her singing reflects it greatly.

On the occasion of the release, Antara said, “This song is a reflection of me and what I want to do with my art. With Aayi Re Badraa, I am singing straight from my heart for the people of today and I hope my fans love this song as much as I do. It has been a journey of emotions and hard work and I am glad to have Qyuki by my side powering me all the way.”

Qyuki COO Sagar Gokhale also added, “We get ecstatic whenever our artists push their boundaries in every genre and Antara does just that. She is dedicated to every project she takes up. We are very proud to be a part of Antara’s journey and will continue to play an integral part in her musical career.”

Aayi Re Badraa is reminiscent of the smell of the first rain and associates it with the feeling lovers get while waiting for each other. On the other hand, the constant search for love leaves us deprived of a sense of belonging, and we fail to see the signs around us that say otherwise! The song defines the new era of modern-day classical music that has gained huge popularity in the independent genre in India. Antara has proven to be one of the most successful representatives of this very genre.
